ROCMND APRC Serving our CommunityOur Initiatives

ROCMND Area Youth Services is a community based agency, which provides therapeutic behavioral services to children and their family in Northeast Oklahoma. ROCMND's name is an acronym for the counties it served when incorporated in 1976 which were Rogers, Ottawa, Craig, Mayes, Nowata, and Delaware. ROCMND was developed to meet the needs of the immediate and surrounding community for services designed and dedicated to youth.  A local Board of Directors composed on 8 community leaders governs the agency.

What Does It Cost?

There is no cost to the family. ROCMND contracts with the State of Oklahoma to provide services free of charge. The agency has the ability to bill Medicaid for behavioral health services, but does not bill private insurance at this time. ROCMND also provides fund raisers to help meet the needs of the client. ROCMND is a 501 C(3) non-profit organization and accepts donations.

ROCMND does not discriminate based on ability to pay, race, age, color, culture, disability, ethnic group, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, or socioeconomic status.

"There is no cost to the family regardless of Medicaid or insurance eligibility."

Services: Residential

ROCMND's residential programs include a Juvenile Detention Center where referrals are received through the court system. These youth are court ordered to a locked facility and are usually awaiting their court hearing. They accept youth between the age of 8 and 17. The facility is co-ed and houses 18.
